Grassy Pond

Next up on our day of easy hikes for the 4-3-2-1 Way Challenge was Grassy Pond. This one was just a little bit longer than the last.

Hike Report

After completing Deathbrook Falls, we headed just a short way down Route 28 to the trailhead for Grassy Pond. Here we found another easy trail with some minor elevation and a beautiful pond destination.

This trail was a bit muddy in spots, but overall was a great hike.

Trip Stats

  • Distance: 0.85 miles (round trip)
  • Total Time: 32 minutes
  • Ascent: 11m
  • Weather: partly sunny, about 78F
  • GPS System: Gaia GPS (see hike here)

Rating

I would give this a 6 out of 10. While it was an easy hike, the views of the pond were pretty overgrown and hard to “see”. Perhaps there were more views if you continued on to Wilson Pond (another hike, for another day).

Happy Hiking Friends!

I’m glad you’re here…

Plan. Hike. Bird. Repeat. that is what you’ll see here on my little corner of the internet. I love planners – give me all the lists and pens; nature – especially with my husband and dog (darby); and ALL OF THE BIRDS. Literally… all of them. I hope you enjoy what you’ll find here!
